        There is a name on the original Wall Unit at Hackensack High School listed as William J. Gatti. This may be Bill Gatti, and there is a Dr. Joseph D. Gatti on the Original Wall Unit also, but I do not know the relationship, if any, between the two men at the present time. 

Click here to view The Record news article November 24, 1945, which tells of Bill Gatti’s success on the gridiron while in service, and that he had risen to the rank of Flight Officer when he was playing football for the “Bergstrom Field Eleven of Indianapolis, Indiana”.
